Description Meet me at the crossroads
I promise not to hurt you
disregard my talon-like nails
just think of my skin against yours
my kisses stealing your breath away
I want to be your dark bride
taste my passion, my lust
light up my dark life
with the fire of your youth.
Close yours eyes,
and come closer, my dear.
Let me taste your skin,
sweet like honey.
Is my tongue forked?
Don't be foolish
just come and devour
my sweet and aching lips
come into these arms
and claim me as your own.
I will not bite, my love...
only love nibbles, no need to fret.
My teeth are what?
Oh yes, they are sharp
better to taste your blood with
and remember, my sweet,
it's only fun if you scream.

I love how this poem practically seduces the reader into reading the next line, and then the next, and then the next. The anticipation for where the story is going. And I enjoyed the imagery.

Is it bad if the end made me laugh out loud? Because it did!
Nice twist!
