The only way to make this as a background was from that Street Fighter 1994 movie.This was the space background of the 1990s Universal logo aka the 75th Anniversary earth.
Although this one can not be used.
But this will be a hint for a 1990s Universal logo in blender.
Anyway, hope you like my version... took a while to erase the earth.

and how did you remove the globe from the background?

I copied another part of the stars around the globe then wiped some of the parts off to make it look like its real.
Smoothing off the end parts without them showing up.
