Description This was my secret project of the year!
Made this for the Yamato Cosplay Cup 2011. To represent my country
I got the 2th place in my country...

If you don't mind me asking, how did you make the green things around the wrists? I really want to cosplay as Mari and thats the only thing that has me stumped and yours look perfect!

Pieces are based on 'anime' (don't know the name on english ._. If it's the same or not), coated with mastic (the same as that used to populate the bumps on the cars) Which one is white and the other is red. In my country is known as Euroflex.

The wristbands are a pvc pipe and cast bas-relief on the edge anime pvc pipe and use the same technique.
You have to be sanded to remove the details and that's it = 3 unfortunately lost the tutorial that I made myself for the whole process

And it has an electrical system which light on the tubes wich you connet to the wrists <.<

Also, nope. I totally didn't paint my whole body. Just my hands and my face. The rest was a zentai suit. :3

I used Ben Nye brand body creme for the convention these photos were taken at. I cosplayed as Kneesocks again last week and used the Ben Nye brand of water based body cake and it was MUCH easier to wear/didn't rub off as easily on everything I touched.
