Purple Tentacle... the monarch to end all monarchs.That is he will be unless you can stop him!! After Purple drinks out of a contaminated river not only does he grow stumpy little arms, but an all consuming urge to take over the world. Bernard and his friends Laverne and Hoagie rush to the aid of the tentacle's master, Dr. Fred to help undo what has been done. Dr. Fred's idea of sending the trio back in time in his new "Chron-O-Johns" to stop the tentacle from mutating goes horribly wrong. Bernard is left in the present while Hoagie is jettisoned 200 years in the past, where he must get assistance from America's fumbilng forefathers, and Laverne is sent 200 years in the future where Purple Tentacle is the ruler of the world, and rules with an iron little stubby hand type thing.
Confused? Weirded out? Well the game is ten times more zany and packed with Tim Schafer (mind behind Psychonauts) humor than you can shake a tentacle at. Day of the Tentacle is a point and click bonanza with insane puzzles that you have to step outside your own sanity to try and solve.
A bit of a departure from my usual style... kept the characters pretty much the way they look in the game.. more American-ized as opposed to the anime style I have mutated into my own. Had fun doin' this.. took a couple hours in Photoshop and not much thought... so if there are any glaring mistakes... shhhhh. I dun wanna hear it.
And since he's loved this game since like.... forever this goes out to you

PS- This game has no japanese school girls in it to defile... sorry to crush the hopes of tentacle rape fans... but it just don't happen. ick.

The game is really wonderful. So is your artwork of it! I actually liked Bernard's nerdiness from both Maniac Mansions, Laverne's "crazy" eye & Hoagie's rock-on style.
And I'm lucky I still have my old Pentium1/Win98SE Toshiba notebook on which i can experience games of 90 era again and again.

Well, the game was released in the mid 90's, long before when the Urotsukidoji influence got big and would make it fodder for risque jokes like on Ghastly's Ghastly comic.
