I love Ms. Piggy, she's one tough lady and yet so cute. Well, I didn't love her so much on Muppet Babies because she was super screechy and stuff but muppet show and movies Piggy is a long time fav. But if she ever did get to marry her Kermie, her name would be Mrs. Piggy the Frog...?

Every so often I actually start ruminating in great depth on the Piggy/Kermit relationship and how much of it is meta and how much is real. And then I'm like "They're MUPPETS, Rebecca". But I won't tell you what I mean by that in case you share my denial.

Haha I can honestly say I've wondered if it's all a show for the cameras but then remember that there are men with their hands shoved in the character's inappropriate places crouched under the set and then I just start wondering how odd the celebrity guests view must be.

Indeed. And truthfully, in Piggy's eyes, she did marry Kermit in "Muppets Take Manhattan", since she switched Gonzo for a genuine minister, thus making the wedding official. It's just like Mickey and Minnie marrying privately in 1933, as per an interview with Uncle Walt himself, where he said that--in the eyes of the studio executives--the two mice are married and only live in different houses to avoid the papparazzi problem.

To be honest, despite her sweet tooth, Piggy likes to maintain a girlish figure. So she fluctuates between heavyset and skinny.
