I sincerely hope I never oblige myself to create so many charms at once ever again. SO MANY TURTLES. What you don't see is that I went through several failed attempts before coming up with this successful batch. I stayed up Chinese new year's eve painting these...and making a mess to usher in the new year. |=

My charms aren't for sale because they're PRICELESS...more like I don't know the first thing about taking and fulfilling orders. And with the amount of time it takes me to make some of these...selling them would be more trouble than it's worth.
These are for some friends ('cept for the purple one -- that's mine. ;D)...I still need to make more for other children ahahaha. *goes insane*

Hey, wait... you made them out of TERRACOTTA!? What about Sculpty! clay? It's colored and (last time I checked)is only 3$ or so for 3 or 4 oz.
I've made so many things out of Sculpty!, you can get it almost anywhere.

I made them out Sculpey that came in a terracotta color. xD Yes, Sculpey is within my budget...not sure how pricey terracotta is.

YOU WENT AND GOT GOOD PAINT WITHOUT ME, DIDN'T YOU?? )= Where did you go? Or did you take more than 3 hours to paint multiple layers until the terracotta stoped showing? XD
Soo... pretty. *__* Seriously, you should sell them. You could really make good money off of these. And I'll go paint your fetus now. And make some children of my own.... >_>

I went to Beverly's when while my mom went to Home Depot to search for orchids. = P w00. I kinda wish I had waited because I got a 20% off coupon for Blick ahaha...but whatever. It wasn't too expensive -- like $7 for the colors I chose. (omg...there were so freaking many shades for every single color...WHY?? I spent sooooo long trying to decide...In the end I just chose generic red, yellow, green...)
Painting still took a long time LOL. Not sure how long since I didn't time myself...but it wasn't as frustrating, and the paint did cover better. 
Eheheh...I think I'll be too busy to sell them right now. >: And yes, go paint my fetus! D8<

lol it's okay. I was actually inspired to make these turtle charms because of a guy I know. He carries a turtle plushie around school. xD It's awesome.

I want the purple turtle. *even more so now because that would mean you have to make more, mwahaha~* I name him...turtle!Vaati. I would buy turtles if they were for sale, but you're right; it's a lot more effort to get them out then to just make for friends. I take back my original price: $5 does not a turtle make. XDD. If you dod ever sell them, let a sister now, okay?
