...except it's not really in progress since I haven't touched it in a month or so...The lighting is a bit weird since I haven't added the dark background yet...and now that I look at it, her face seems off. ]=
I guess no one caught my "hidden" kiriban.

Looks great so far! I love the subtle shading and pale effect on it, and the hair and eye coloring is so shiny and pink and pretty XP Great job, can't wait to see it finished!

You really did a nice job with this one
The only thing that seems a bit off are the eye brows... I don't know why but the left one sees to be too close the to the right one.
Anyway, keep up the good work!

The thing with her face is that I think her left eye (to her) is a little too far to the left (again to her.^^)
But not really that noticeable and it still es awesome.

I mostly used Crayola, but if I needed a more saturated color, I used Prismacolor.

Yayyyyyyy for Arietta~! I really like all those different colors you used in her hair~
Huuu, her face bothers me though. @___@ Like... her hairline doesn't curve with her head, so it makes her forehead look bigger on the right. Or maybe her left eye is too far over? @___@;; I think you should have lowered her hairline, too. It'd make her look younger/cuter.

Don't worry; all it takes is practice - lots and lots of practice! ^^ Personally, I don't think the brand of color pencils should matter too much in the end. When I only had Crayola, it may have taken me longer to finish (since you need to press really hard for Crayola's colors to get saturated), but I was basically able to color the same way.
