In X's defense, he is actually a pretty powerful character. Dr. Light created him with the ability to grow and evolve as well as limitless potential. This is why characters in the games can't speculate his powers, because he's constantly growing and changing and that limitless potential allows him to match any opponent. Not to mention the large variety of special weapons and armor upgrades at his disposal. I'm not saying he's better or KOS-MOS is better, I honestly like both. I get a strange sensation watching them do a double buster shot in the Project X Factor opening. Why do people have to make two characters fight anyway, I would much rather they become allies and kickass. My final statement they're both badasses. X is a badass, and KOS-MOS is a sexy badass

About the bashing: I entered into a discussion with a Deviant who did a fanart of Rockman (X) VS KOS-MOS. KOS-MOS has fallen and she's got X's cannon on her jaw, ready to get wasted for losing.
I debated that KOS-MOS (if you played the RPG) is incredibly powerful, and I really doubt that X can actually beat her... he went all out that X was better, but he has not played Xenosaga, neither saw KOS-MOS swallowing a whole universe of Gnosis all by herself.
