Finished, finally!I seriously love how it turned out (the beautiful hair~)!
Menma and Naruto, opposites.
Oh! I changed Menma's hand, thought it looked better like this. And, by the way I'm not very good at drawing hands so I try hard to not let that ruin the drawing. XD
Before I forget, for those who don't know about Menma: He is the evil AU Naruto in the movie Road to Ninja. Having black hair, and a sharingan supposedly when Tobi possesses him.
I'm still trying to be patient for the movie but arrrg, so hard to wait half a year for all this epicness! ;w;
Anyway, tips are welcome! And of course, comments! 8D

Yes I do recommend it! It was one of my first animes so it's dear to me, hahaha. I'd suggest to pass the fillers though, at least most of them (some are entertaining).

Menma's red eyes show he is under the influence of his "dark self", the one Naruto confronted on the turtle island. When Tobi directly possessed Menma he could use the sharingan by proxy, a real dirty trick worthy of a fallen ninja!

I have to agree. The story doesn't tell all, though there are so many hypothesis we can make! Much stuff for fanfic or RP plots too!

Kishi seems to be trying to kill all possibilities with the end game, but Jump Comics 7 the anime studio might get something extra out of him anyway.
For his movie, I do believe he wrote as much of the story as possible to tease & tantalize us and make us get shiny-eyed over the story again.

In the meantime there is always fanfic. RTN is the answer to a fanfic writer's prayers. If the creator does an AU of his own story, can the fans do anything but follow?

Yup! Woa, it's been so long I've read one. There are a few very good Menma fanfics out there that are worth reading. They must have new chapters too.

I can't wait for the Naruto movies as much as I can't wait to receive my pre-ordered bonus Goku costume version of Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 3. My friend said that this game was going to suck and I almost put him into a concussion. Sure we had our downs with these games, like Generations and Ultimate Ninja 3, but the majority of our games KICKED ASS! I had no idea that this was the plot of the next movie. Looking forward to it.

I can't wait either, and here I am sitting hoping CC2 adds Menma as a playable full character or as a costume in Storm 3 after releasing Road to Ninja DLC costumes... It would make sense ya know... I hope that we can download them over here later on.
Looking forward to try the Goku costume too, as well as the others, and bijuu mode Naruto! Personnaly I think Storm 3 will kick ass.

And yeah, on Sayanisland website it does confirm it is Hokage Naruto from Road to Ninja. So I'm really crossing my fingers for Menma to be playable as well! ;w;

Great job with the shape and proportions and making him look human.
The details and colors are great as always. I really like the way the lights and darks are used to define them and the way they create the mood and sides. It's really well done!

I'm glad I succeeded in the proportions, this is what I was worried the most when I started the drawing. I needed references but, they come in handy in the end!
I really wanted to show the opposing dark and light sides, so I did it with the shadows and lightings too!
