Technically, by posting here, you are "getting after me." Although I should think that you should have a chat with your friend before you get angry with me, seeing as he was the one being rude during our conversation. Let's say you just discovered a wonderful new anime, that you immidiately fell in love with. You take a cute little screenshot and put it in your scraps, to share your new-found joy with your dA friends. Then some random troll comes around and tells you you've broken deviantArt rules by expressing your happiness.

You got your point across, the only problem is that your point is invalid, as much as I hate to use that term. You can talk about the anime in your journal. You can draw fanart. Those things are okay, and they still express your happiness. But what if you spent hours drawing something to find someone had taken it and posted it without asking your permission? That would also make you angry, wouldn't it? I imagine it would also make you rather unhappy to log on one day to find that you've been banned because you had a gallery full of screenshots. It's happened, trust me. The only person here who is missing the point is you.

I'm sorry, but taking a screenshot and post it (wherever you want) is not illegal, as long as you say the name of the anime/manga that you took this or even the site that you get it(and of course, don't say that this drawing is yours,right!) -.-' The point is, if it were illegal, the majority of blogs and fan pages would be illegal, right? Maybe not illegal, no, but it is against dA policy and you can get banned for an entire gallery of screenshots. Here, it's explained more in the final paragraph of this FAQ:
