well, i knew that much, what i meant to ask is whether you used interfacing or not. I tried making one a while back for a misao cosplay, but i didn't have the money for interfacing, and i didn't know whether i'd need it or not. well... i think i may have needed it.

I didn't use interfacing for my obis because I used a really really thick fabric- I don't remember if it was as thick as duckcloth or whatever that stuff is called. but if you needed to use a fabric that wasn't that thick (say, for color reasons), you NEED interfacing. remember, interfacing and batting are your two big guns

I love this kimono. You look absolutely amazing. and the flowers are painted really nice, and I admire you for putting so much work in the obi. a favorite.
