Commissioned by a friend-she wanted a scene from Louisa May Alcott's Little Women. She gave me the chapter, and I picked the line:"'Really, truly, Jo?'
He stopped short, and caught both her hands as he put his question with a look that she did not soon forget."
I was rooting for you, Teddy dear!
It's very interesting working on artwork while suffering from a fever...
I spent a long time working with the dappled light effect. I'm not sure that I quite achieved it, but I will continue to work at it!

Little Women. What's Good Wives?

Good Wives is the sequel to Little Women but in most cases it's thrown is as chapter 20 something. This is from Good Wives originally but Apple House Publishing decided it best to combine the two novels, hence why Little Women is usually a very thick read.
