Oh yes, I know who I want to commission for the banners and I've drawn some sketches out, I just need to scan them in and send my order, and it'l be well on the way, just sort of dawdling because it's hard to imagine it all put together

I've got heaps done, still need some extra banners that I need to commission to match my character's image, more pre-mades to design, a new mini tamagotchi base to make and some link/button images, but otherwise, fairly close to ready (and people apparently are so excited they have to post even though it's not open haha). Kinda nervous, I know my prices and stuff are way over the top, but I don't wanna get snowed under with orders either, so I'm hoping to find just the right mid ground

I know, it's just that part of me wants to wait for the new banners as an excuse to dawdle coz I'm a little shy to open, and part is because I want to at least finish each set before adding it to the premade section, and I want to make sure there's at least one set ready to go so there are things for people to buy (don't want to be too flooded with customs, although I can usually turn them out in no more than an hour).
Should I do some sort of special opening thing? I don't like the idea of a bump cake, for a certain number of bumps, because I have to keep a track of if people are really bumping that much and because I might feel overwhelmed with things moving too fast... but it'd be good to think of something to get people in and interested just to start with : 3

Yeahh, I know whatcha mean. I only started out with maybe three sets of premades. And i didn't even add the customs until a week later to check the activity level, haha. Now the main focus is the customs and when I open those slots. LKDJFLKDSJ People FLOOD me with huge bulk orders. And it's just like, lsdkjflskdf "I'M ONLY A SMALL 5FOOT TALL GIRL. HAVE MERCY."
My way around the "bumping" contest is to do like. "x poster on x page" gets so-and-so prize! And if I want more than one winner, I just do like "first x people to post on x page" win a prize.

Hmm, that is a good way to approach it... see I wanted to wait on the customs for a bit as well, but I have a feeling it'l be the only way I get paid things/amounts that I really like XD

I've made my customs a purely bribe style system, people have to convince me it's worth doing, and that way, I can look through the offers and take those that are worth the most, rather than relying on doing as many as I can to reach a goal. If I like the offer, I'll do, if I don't, I won't. And hopefully I'll get a little bit from premades too ^^

The minishops are pretty slow now, so i think you should have a veryyy manageable stream of traffic. 8D <3 /ugh ugh/ I remember when there was a bumpers for hire craze - and the minishops was a nightmare of pointless spam. u___u;

What I really like about this style compared to your previous base (don't get me wrong I love those toooo) is the colorsss and the fact you have so many more poses going on. But seriously the colors are gorgeous~
