Two lines in there mean the most. "I try to feel, but just don't/Hurting and dead inside". And of course I couldn't use a mouse. What's a mouse to me? Nothing. But sparrows are everything. What, exactly could this mean . . . it's up for interpretation.

Yep! Salt! This painting, for people who know me, who know how important and meaningful sparrows are to me, is a difficult one to take in. It shows very little hope - only despair. It even shook up my therapist a little - he even asked me to resurrect the sparrow in another painting!

That's what my therapist said! No, my sparrow definitely isn't gone yet. Or ever, for that matter. I'm starting to feel quite a bit better now, stable, happy even
