A piece I did after playing too much World of Warcraft I think. A little bit warlocky, fire-magey. Photoshop with references, plus I used a filter for the stained glass thing because I got too lazy...this isn't too recent either, and the fire/magicy hand looks pretty lame to me now.Related content

First off, VERY beautiful picture...there's a lot that I like in here. The colors stand out right away, mainly the good use of red. Very good mix of bright and dark red that give enough shadow/contrast and also the brilliant, magical highlights. The outfit design is very nice - I like the fine mesh detailing under the chest portion. I could tell you used a filter for the stained glass, but as far as I'm concerned that's a good useage - maybe it is a little obvious, but it works very well here.
I do see a few things in here that you might want to take a close look at. Her left arm and hand don't really look right to me. Her fingers are a bit on the short side, but I am one who's drawn my fair share (and then some!) of bad hands - very tricky parts to get looking right. The other part that bothers me is the upper part of her left arm - I'm not sure if the shape is quite right in relation to the bangle/bracelet of her outfit.
Overall, though, very nice picture and great use of color!
