Once they were found out, Cade and Dianthe were taken to Harold Attinger. As Harold mock to Cade of protecting his family and he's trying to prevent an alien war from coming, Dianthe had enough and spoke out for those who had lost their comrades and families because of him, telling him he'd already brought war amongst them.
