I wonder why Terry grew up with Ogin the Ninetails?

Well, the story is still jumbling in my head of what happened with Terry real parents, however when she was just an egg, she was found by Ogin and the Ninetales raise Terry ever since. In the Gijinka/Human forms has a different story, I think.
