Took this picture when I visited the beach last Thursday, the only thing I added was the black border to make it seem more pro/spiffy.Please comment!

Nice composition. Just a little blurry as 1/400 wasn't quite enough to stop action. Still, all in all, a lovely photo.

It's a shame it's a little blurry, but I hadn't expected to take a shot like this, so I just went with it and I like the way the rest turned out, like the blue of the ocean as the background. I'm glad you like it.

If/when I try a shot like this, the wings would be in focus but the head wouldn't - like reverse and retarded. I LOVE the focus and framing of this shot (not the literal frame, but you know what I mean)...

It's pro enough without the frame.
But the fact that birds are the most difficult subjects to photograph compensates this slight mistake perfectly!

It was difficult to shoot the bird in flight, this is the only picture that made it look like an actual animal was shot. I wanted to show this even when the wing is blurry/hardly visible because it gives me a certain feeling.
Hehe, I know I can do without the border, but it just makes a tiny bit of difference, for the better.
