Description Some quick-ish Fereldan finery for Anders to match Jay’s set, only with the fanciest freaking feather cape! I have this image of him finding it in some store or stall somewhere on the run and really really wanted it but on the other hand also didn't think he'd have any use for it (so Hawke just went 'why the heck not? You can wear fancy clothes in the ass end of nowhere if you want; the important part is that it makes you happy. You should have it. It'd look amazing on you!')

!!!! I love how you not only draw the characters that resemble themselves but also feel them and in that wat put them in their whole glory on your drawings~! It's so much Anders-like. I bet he looked at this set with delight at first, then hopefully.. And then he saw the price and thought about all these people in need, all this half-starved cats and children in the time of war which he blamed himself about (well, justice is one thing but the war and the law of the jungle are never just) and last but not least, about Jay who was forced because of him to live in exile and on constant run.. So he just looked away and mumbled something about today's fashion being completely ridiculous. But Jay already saw that look and knew him too well to know what Anders really thought. So he just went and bought the set. Anders deserved to have something which wouldn't be only 'useful' and 'handy' but also pretty. Making him smile.

Ahhh yessss. During a time when he's either on the run or lives on a faraway farm taking care of and curing some Tranquil fancy clothing and other sort of lavish luxuries is the last thing he'd spare any coin for. ;u; I'm pretty sure they could afford it with what extra money they have either left of Hawke's fortune (that maybe Varric keeps sending to him in bits somehow after they have a semi-permanent residence again) and whatever other sources of income they might have, but still, it would seem too unnecessary for him to be able to justify.

And it's funny because Jay is mostly a practical sort himself (PRETTY practical, but practical anyway), and feels a little out of place in fancy clothing, but on the other hand he really really knows the feeling when you're wearing something you really adore that makes you feel awesome, and he thinks Anders needs that. xD

Awww, but it's so woderful <3 Anders needs someone like Jay, who would see such things for him because I have the feeling that sometimes he's too severe with himself and deems that to survive is enough.. Whereas Jay shows him that it's also good to LIVE sometimes. Especially in situation when you already had to survive terrible events
