First off this is not my standard art style. I don't like drawing buildings so I just went super cartooney. Thank you for the compliment on the idea however if you don't like someone's art style it's not polite to point it out.

it may not be polite, but its my honest opinion.
when i comment on art here, i always write what is going through my mind when looking at the pics. not saying it would have been like lying to you.
also, do you know the stamp that says "critique/comment is not for getting your ass kissed"? i think comments like "wow","nice" "awww" are flattering, but not constructive at all and a bit boring.
this is was not meant as an insult or something.
one thing i love about DA is the wide range of different art styles and skill levels that can be seen here, it is very interesting.so keep on doing what you´re doing and have a nice day.

You make a good point about "wow" and "nice" and "awww" being not overly deep reflections though I must lay out some information for you. Don't assume that because I call someone out on being rude that means I don't like or welcome critique. I fully welcome critique but saying you don't like someone's art style is not critique that is your personal opinion. If you would like to critique art I suggest giving a proper constructive critique which would include details that might help the artist such as "Great idea and execution but you should consider cleaning up the lines for a smoother look" or "I noticed the lighting on the face looks like it's coming from a different angle on the chin, here is a lighting tutorial that might help -insert link here-, your proportions are improving though". I'm not really here to give you a full step-by-step on how to do a well written critique but I would suggest going with the basics of a helpful identification of a specific problem, a suggestion on how to fix said problem, and a note on the stronger aspects of the art. Also using the excuse of 'being honest' is pretty weak and faulty, I wouldn't comment on your art saying "I don't like this, I find it ugly and I hate your style" even if that was my honest opinion. Sometimes it is simply best to just not comment if you don't have something nice to say or an educated and helpful response. If you are not going to add the constructive into your blatant criticism just don't. That is not 'lying' that is basic decency. You wouldn't tell random strangers that you think their voice is prettier than their face or you don't like their clothing style because not telling them is 'lying', if you do do that good luck in life because you will need it. I hope this helps you make more informed commenting and critiquing decisions in the future.
