Description
This caterpillar was inspired by a 'Black Swallowtail caterpillar', which is a native species to North America. It may not look like it, but this caterpillar is actually one of the few species that has an extra organ called an 'Osmetrium'. It is basically a red/orange fork like limb that appears from the top of the caterpillars head when threatened, which it then uses to scare off unwanted predators as well as release a powerful combined chemical odour ~

This caterpillar is made entirely from real woodland materials which I have collected, washed, hand assembled, as well as painted with high quality acrylics ^w^ ~
