Description
A Colored Sketch commission from FC'11 for Ammy, a player of Mweor.com, the website that I co-own and do the art for. Ammy and her mother play Mweor and have come to visit me at FC for two years now to commission me and just to see me, they're so kind!Ammy wanted her two Air Mweors, Katrina and Nyx, together (I believe they're mates). And yes, Nyx has two sets of wings o3o
Watercolor and Acrylic on 7x9" paper.

they are so beautiful! I love the detail you put in their markings and I think Katrina's markings are awesome! (but they are both astounding!)

oh an air with feather wings? Double wings? I love three winged ones. Like air, feather, and bat. I'm jealous. My parents didn't want to travel that far to come ;( I live by chicago..so..I love the expression and pose! It's just amazing what you do with watercolors!

Thank you! I'm not much of an acrylic fan and hated to actually use them, but it was the only way I could think of putting all those colors in spots. Though in my experience watercolor won't stay on top of something like acrylic? I'd think that it would fall right off the surface.

I tried to reply last night, but it looks like it didn't send the message.
You can add grey into the colour to de-saturate it, and it will look softer then.
About the shadows, you can add more black to the colour earlier mentioned (the de-saturated one) and it will turn darker, then use it on the drawing. It will be friendlier to the eye
But yea, I suppose it would fall off if you would use watercolours
