WIP shot of the fursuit I'm making. It's my first fursuit, I guess I never uploaded old shots of it on here? Anyway, she's a rottweiler. I started the head 6 months ago and am finally getting close to finishing... taking a long time as I work on little bits at a time.So yay, eyes XD

Wow, this looks great! How do you make these exactly? 6 months for one head... Hmm it's taking a pretty long time, but probably not for this kind of thing!

Most people, especially professionals, are MUCH faster. I just work on this in my (little) spare time n.n
They're made many different ways, mine is made of carved foam, then covered with fake fur which is sewn and glued on top.

I think I started my first one about 4-6 months ago too. You totally have surassed me in progress. lol

Yea I was stuck there for the longest time, too. Different areas keep intimidating me... it took a month or so before I tackled the eyes O_O It's all a learning process though! Which is why I picked a generic dog for my first suit, because everyone -always- says your first suit is one you end up not liking after a while! And I didn't want to do that to my personal characters lol!

This is great, haha. You might not be finished by the coming up FurCon, but there is always next year...that way you can add your super art into your costume.

It's so interesting to see an artists' style come out in fursuits. Like, you can tell who some suit makers are because you recognize how they draw... XD It's great.
