My parents had a rug like this in their bedroom since...well, forever as far as I'm concerned. They gave it to D and I a few years ago and it lived in our bedroom for a while. Then one of the cats peed on it and nothing we did could get rid of the smell. The rug is no more

lol, my dad has a couple, I acutally had a "loom" i think you call it, we made one together when i was little, there is a special knot you have to do, it took years and years,(my knots took a while to perfect). It's tiny too, like the size of a mousepad! LOL at the time I was so little and so proud. my granpa had some beautiful ones, that had been walked on for a very very long time, the detail was amazing.

me2!lol, I honestly don't have THAT much patience to wait that long for something like that,to honestly consider what every single tiny knot makes in a huge design , would drive me bat shit trying to make it "perfect".
