Description Single Apophyisis flame; two single-variation transforms; no blur variations. I'm loving the natural chromatic blur

It's definitely you! In fact almost a fractal version of 'the fifth', on black instaed of white background.

very interesting technique indeed, looks very natural i like the different forms in there as well, although overall i would say it's not as appealing as the rest of your gallery composition-wise. i can see that it was a difficult one to frame though, most spirals are. and the innovative technique more than compensates for that anyway great job

It was certainly a curiosity rather than anything else, but it's a technique to file away for future reference

Wow. Definitely one of the best fractals I've seen posted in a while, very innovative.

That chromatic blur... it's not postprocessed, is it? I won't think any less of the image if it is, but it looks VERY natural, like it was made as part of the flame in Apo. If it is postprocessed, that is very smooth, very non-obvious! Great job.

I'm delighted by the reception this one's had - I felt its appeal may have been just personal. It is indeed all done in Apo, and comes about through a simple weight ratio between GlynnSim1 and lazysusan transforms. Following a request for the technique, I experimented further, keen to see whether I could manage a complete rainbow blur, and did

Glynnsim1 and Lazysusan you say...

Stunning ! This reminds me of jewelery, or eastern ornaments, this play with materials that reflect and refract light.. or imagine looking upwards into the decorated dome of a magical temple or the like, with some funky round flat modern lamps..

I'm pleased with the reception for this - I thought its appeal was perhaps too personal.

I don't see how this is more personal than your others... It's definitely one of my favorites in your gallery though.

Impossible to judge as dA is mad since yesterday. Lots of things are invisible.
