I'm Batman! Did this for the saturday weekly challenge on facebook. I drew a more classic suit. I love the Batman films, I think the Christopher Nolan ones are the best but I do have problems with that Mighty Morfin Porwer Rangers suit. I just wished for once they would try a Bat movie without the high tech toys, just a simple Batman at is debut.Related content

I too would like to see a Batman without the hightech stuff, but not sure about the Knight version. Doesn't feel like a Batman.

Wasn't sure about the Batman as a vampire either but the story line was good.If the right writers and artists worked on it who knows

Merci! He oui, je vais chez Heroes depuis au moin 12 ans maintenant. Y'a pas d'autre place pour acheter ces BD que là! J'ai eu beaucoup de fun au Fan App. Très différents de Montréal. Fait beaucoup de sketch. Pour Fan Expo, je ne le saurai pas avant le mois de Mai, mais je peux tout de suite confirmer ma présence au Montréal Comic-con de septembre.

It would be nice, as you say, to do a movie once without the high-techy, more debut style, bring back that old Bob Kane, Bill Finger style.

True I feel ya, but I do like all the different interpretations of batman you get through the movies. The comics have a lot of variance as well, I read one were Batman was using guns, and others where it is just Batman using his strength and fighting skills with no high tech toys.

Yeah I've seen these books. Even in the books I'm getting kind of tired seeing Batman with all these High-tech gadgets. I just wish someone would step up to the plate and bring back a real detective book.

I think it could work. Just put in a lot of over the top fight seen, some intriguing story, Catwoman, Riddler and the Joker...and voila!

I would love to do a Batman story like that. I could easyly adapt my style to it. Only problem is, I don't know if my talent as a writer would be up for a challenge.

Probably, but that would be cool. I am not good at writing. You could probably pull a lot of inspiration from all the tons of Batman comics there are, try to mix new story with old concepts. (I've always wanted to do an Annabel Lee comic but I cannot draw well enough yet.)

I've read a lot of Batman, I even got inspiration for a game. But not sure my writing would be solid enough. By the way, who is Annabel Lee? I'm not familiar with her.

It is a poem by Edgar Allen Poe. Maybe you could search around for a solid writer. Put a wanted thing up on your page and ask for a sample script. I'm sure you could find a great writer on DA. (maybe even present your search as a competition)

Thank you for that, I did not know it was a poem. As of right now, I have a couple of projects I want to bring but I want to try alone. I already have some ideas and feel for a story. I know there are a lot of great writers out there, this is the kind of project I need\want to give birth alone. Maybe when I'm done with it, I'll try other ideas I have with someone.
