Here's the combine for cloud. Now that I look at the pics of him in advent children, I realized that they are not that bad. It kinda grows on you. Perhaps the reason why I didn't like it was that the first pic of him I saw was the wallpaper one and the one with him standing next to sephiroth, which were butt ugly IMO.Well I seem to have lost too much realism in this one. Iono...
On a side note, I found a screenshot of him in AC that really looked like cloud. I tried transcribing a copy to my sketch book but I failed 3 out of 3 times. 0% success rate...thats kinda bad, and I'm suppose to be good at copying too. I think I need more sleep =_=.

i much prefer your pictures over the AC designs. personally, i think you make them more realistic in the way that you put more individual features into them.
i sorta found the AC designs a bit... well.... boring?
i think alot of the characters look the same, but thats just me.

that's beautiful! I luv ur sketches. i'm good at copying too, but I never succeeded at drawing Cloud. His face is a very delicate balance so its easy to kill.

the AC version that totally looked different from cloud really was bad, and the one in the movie IS a different version of his model!
that's probably the reason it looked better. i love your combine version--and i must ask how you do the hair...! and if you use a godly eraser for the light parts of it...
um, critique... mmm... his left eye, the one that's a bit lower, makes him look like the AC wallpaper version if you cover the other side.
i think the angle of it just makes him look a bit sick/angry--but it seems to be part of the purpose of the whole thing, so meh xD.
