Description

So this is what I’ve been doing for the past six months, among other things. Because of high school and my classes, I’m been exclusively drawing for assignments and homework. But one of the subjects we worked on, namely the woodcarvings of Felix Vallotton, caught my attention. I really like the simplified style of it, and manipulating black and white in such a way that it forces the mind to finish some parts of the drawing. It is not tribal, obviously. But it’s simplification nonetheless.

Of course, I’ve drawn much more, but I wanted to post this. I hope I can get back to the Dracoloid series soon, as I’ve learned quite a lot, and I hope to write more as well.

Here we have another winged dragon, this time focusing purely on feathers and their designs. I love the curve in the tail. *-*In any case, a lot of tip-ex was used here…
