The groups is just about to bump into a demon. These are the last moments before that happens - Inuyasha gets his sepsis-wound.
So, Shippo is spending his journey on Inuyasha's shoulder. Inuyasha doesn't really enjoy it, and Shippo's stupid comments make it just more annoying.
In the next scene they fight against the demon. But what the f, Inuyasha has his Tessaiga! O_O Where did it come from? I mean, I almost NEVER draw Tessaiga... I have no way to explain it. It's just one of a big failure.
