I love MGS regardless of what the comic convey. It's one of my favorite games in my PS1.Having said that I also find it funny that the games that followed after MGS (namely Splinter Cell and Assassin Creed) has a timeline which was before MGS took place.
But ironically, they have better gears (for Sam's) or better techniques (for Altair) than Snake.

The problem with a realistic stealth system in games is that it makes it a lot HARDER to be stealthy. This is the lesser,r and funnier evil.
