Mikey looked up from his drawing when the teacher, Miss Ross, walked into the classroom again. He looked at her before he looked at the smaller boy walking next to her. He had brownish hair and shining green eyes. The boy looked a little around him before he looked up at the teacher.

"Everyone, attention please." She looked at the class, while everyone turned their head to her, Mikey was still looking at the boy. "Class, this is Frank Iero and he is gonna stay with us. Be nice to him." She smiled. Frank waved at the class before he looked up at the teacher again. Mikey smiled and looked back at the drawing.

After an hour it was time for the break and everyone walked outside. Mikey stood up and looked at Frank, who was still drawing on at his table, smiling a little. "Frank, we have break now…" he said quietly, walking slowly to Frank. No answer. "Frank." Mikey said, calling him for the second time. Again no answer. Mikey pouted, thinking Frank ignored him.

"Michael, why are you still inside?" Miss Ross against while she walked into the class. She looked at Frank and smiled. "Trying to talk to Frank?" she asked, standing next to him.

"He is ignoring me." He said, a little sad. Miss Ross smiled and shook her head.

"He isn't ignoring you, Michael. Frank can't hear, he is deaf." She said softly. Mikey gasped, feeling a little bad now for thinking Frank ignoring him. "wait here." She smiled, walking to Frank. She tapped him on his shoulder gently, standing in front of him. Frank looked slowly up from his drawing and smiled. Mikey stared at her while she was moving her hands, signing something to Frank. He smiled and nodded before he turned around to Mikey, smiling at him. He waved and stood up, putting his stuff inside his bag. Mikey looked at him before he looked at Miss Ross again.

"W-What did you do?" Mikey asked.

"Since Frank can't hear I sign him words, that's how he talks with people." She said. He nodded slowly and looked at Frank. He closed his bag and looked at Mikey before he looked up at miss Ross again. Mikey looked confused when she signed something again to Frank but Frank smiled and nodded.

"What did you say?" he asked.

"I told him your name and that you will go out with him and play." She smiled and walked out of the class room.

Frank smiled and walked to him. Mikey noticed Frank was a lot shorter than him. He waved at him and smiled. Frank smiled too and waved back. The taller boy kept smiling and walked with Frank out of the class.

The last school bell rang and little Mikey Way ran outside the school to his older brother, holding his back close against his chest. Gerard looked up at him and smiled. He held Mikey's hand and started walking home with him.

"Gerard?" Mikey asked and looked up at his brother. Gerard looked at him and nodded. "Do you want to go with me to the bookstore tomorrow? I wanna buy a book." He said, pulling his glasses good on his nose.

"A book? For what?" The older boy asked, still holding the hand of his younger brother.

"Today we got a new boy in the class and I want to buy a book. He is deaf and I wanna be friends with him but I can't understand what he is signing. So I want to buy a book to learn deaf signs! Then I can talk with him and be friends!" he smiled. Gerard looked at his younger brother and nodded.

"Well, let's go tomorrow morning then. What is the name of the kid?" he opened the door and walked inside. mikey put his bag on the ground and put his coat off.

"Frank Iero. He is really nice, at the break we started doing things together and it was fun." He smiled. "But I want to talk to him. No one is talking to him or tries to." He pouted. "That's sad." Gerard nodded and walked into the living room. "I'm gonna learn it all so I can talk to him Monday." he smiled and nodded to himself.

"But first your homework, Mikey." Gerard said and sat at the table. "Come on, I will help you with it." he smiled.

Mikey stood a little awkwardly with the book a little behind Frank, looking how the smaller boy was drawing. He nodded to himself again before he walked to Frank and tapped his shoulder. The younger boy look up at him and smiled. A little smile appeared on Mikey's face before he sat down next to Frank. He put his glasses good before he looked at Frank, who was staring at him. I can do this, Mikey thought. I've learned the whole weekend.

Mikey curved both his hands with his palms down. He placed his hands together with his knuckles touching each other. He rolled his hands forwards until his palms up before he pointed with one finger at Frank, smiling, signing him the line 'How are you?'

A wider smile appeared on Frank's face when he saw Mikey signing, feeling special that he learned it for him. He held his hand two inches away from his chest, with his pinky to Mikey, and touched with his thumb two times. Mikey smiled and nodded, remembering that sign means 'fine'. Frank smiled again and pointed at himself before he put his thumb and middle finger together and pulled his hand straight away from his chest before pointing at Mikey. It took a while for Mikey to figure out what he meant. When he understood Frank signed 'I like you' he giggled and blushed.

He smiled a little and pointed at Frank before pointing at himself. He held his hands in front of him and hooked his pointer fingers together one way before he did it again but then the other way. He bit his lip and looked at Frank, hoping he signed 'Are we friends?'

Frank smiled at Mikey before he nodded

*20 years later *

"I'm so nervous, I'm so nervous..." Mikey breathed out, walking from one side to the other. "What if I do it wrong? Everything will be ruined!" Gerard held his younger brother at his shoulders and made him stop, smiling.

"Mikey, you can do it, believe me. You will stand there and do it amazing, don't let your stage fright win." he smiled and hugged him. "I'm so proud on you." he whispered. The door opened and Bob walked in.

"Dude, come on, everyone is waiting." he said. Mikey looked nervous at him and nodded.

"I know you will feel okay when you stand there." Gerard said and looked at his younger brother. He put Mikey's tie good and smiled. "Okay, ready to go." he smiled. Mikey nodded and smiled a little. He walked out of the room and walked into the big room. He looked at the people sitting on the benches, turning around to look at him. He looked at them and felt the fear coming up but it disappeared when he saw Frank turning around to him, smiling at him. Gerard stood next to Mikey before he walked with him to Frank. Gerard stood in front of Frank before he put his hands on each other and made two small circles with his hands together, forward, down, back, and repeat it again, before he pointed at Mikey, signing 'Take care of him.' to him. Frank smiled and nodded. The older brother nodded and looked at Mikey. He smiled and walked to his place. He looked at his younger brother with pride, watching how his younger brother and Frank signed each other 'I do.' on their wedding.
