Description
After a day alone by herself while Rumpel went on his new magical rounds, Belle decided he would not get out of spending time with her when he came home.Rumpel came home the first night to find Belle seemingly asleep. He ran a hand through her hair, but before he could retreat Belle, wide awake, caught it. She was shivering, but not from cold. From fear. All those years in the psych ward had seriously impaired her to being alone, and her condition only worsened at night.
Without a word, Rumpelstiltskin climbed on top of the covers and wrapped an arm around her as she nestled up against him, her ragged breaths shallowing until she finally fell asleep.

I'm not familiar with elements. I saw the picture though, and it looks great! The way to get rid of the noise around the lineart, though, is to make the lineart layer "Multiply." At least that's what it's called in Photoshop.

Are you kidding? He's been paying in grief, regret, and pain since the day she left, and she's probably felt the same. And even before she left, I don't think he took her for granted; ever since she fell off that ladder, he's been treating her like his princess. NOT the princess she was born as mind you, but HIS princess. The whole "It is I who should kneel to you; I am not worthy of your beauty." act is not unique to Rumpelstiltskin; I have seen it done with quite a few Beasts, the most famous of which is Jean Cocteau's version.

I agree he suffered after she left, but I know all too well how fast those lessons learned can diminish if you get what you want in the end.
All I'm saying is, I hope Belle is his equal in the new season like she was in fairy tale land, and she's not so head over heels that she won't stand up for what is right. She seemed a bit shell shocked at the end of the season (and rightfully so), but we don't know how she'll act when her love is returned.

I agree. Gaston didn't have any idea as to what Belle wanted, conforming to the typical, patriarchal ideas of what marriage is traditionally about. NOT GONNA' WORK if you want Belle for your wife, honey.
