These were two days of painting almost non stop just to get it done for Halloween. Ugh, my back hurts so bad now ;_; But I've never been so proud of my art as I am today. *sobs*Reblog on tumblr

well i have problems with my spine anyways so it always hurts a bit after i sit for a few hours. but this painting session took it to a whole different level hahah but yeah, it's a bit better now. i had to take a few days of break and not sit in front of computer XD

naah, i was cheating with the background but shh XD i'm just an lazy ass and it would take me ages to paint the whole background by myself XD i've done some weird shit to the photo, painted on it etc so yeah XD
but thank you so much ;;;;;; i always struggle with the amount of details because i feel like i HAVE TO make everything perfect although i know i shouldn't spend so much time for example painting single strands of hair or light in eyes but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ lol does it even make sense? i'm just babbling here XD

hahahaha because i'm not XD honestly this is the first time my textures look good and i have no idea how i did this. like there are just bunch of weird paint blobs and shit just to make the background look not so obvious XDDD

well it wasn't that difficult^^ i used a photo and added a filter on it because if i wanted to paint the background by myseld it would take ages (and i'm a lazy ass too so XD). i don't remember which one it was. i think one of "Brush Strokes' filters. then i played a bit with colors, added some of them on an overlay layer (reds and blues mainly) and then i painted over to cover this obvious filter. i used the last brush from here , paint brushes in sizes 45, 80, 150 and 69 from here and one from here (Sycra's CS6 Brush Presets Collection) in size 300 (just below that 150 which you can find in Deharme's brushes). this one is literally the best. and from what i saw alicexz uses it a lot too hahaha
