Skyler looked out at the beautiful sunset on the waterfall. It turned the water a gorgeous light pink. Even the blue streaks in her long brown hair looked heavenly. She blushed when she saw the wind from the rushing water below rustling through Kaifer's hair. He had the deepest green eyes she had ever seen. He was her lifelong crush, ever since she met him 5 years before.
Over by the tree, Jared was eating an apple. Though Kaifer's twin brother, they had thier differences. They shared the same fire-red hair, but Jared's eyes were dark brown, almost black. Jared was a loner. He only came along with them because he felt protective over them. All the girls liked him, but he wasn't interested. Loner.
Skyler shivered. It was getting dark, and it was getting colder. School would start in 4 weeks.
"I'll get your hoodie" Kaifer offered. He stood up and left, in the dark, towards the car. Skyler heard the car door open. As she waited for it to close, she instead heard a sickening thud. Not the thud of the car door, a sound she rarely heard. Like, someone hitting their head... Kaifer!
She jumped up, and noticed Jared was almost there. He disappeared into the darkness, and Skyler followed. There was blood, alot of blood. And as she turned towards the car, she saw him. Kaifer was pale, blood trickling down his mouth. His beautiful, deep, green eyes stared into nothing.

He was dead.
