Description
The God of the dead looked out at the sea of sand being swallowed by the dark night. Looking at the stary sky he wonder if this time, the sun was going to re-appear in the East. As even the Gods, could not help the humans mistakes.it's not a real thing it's just I felt like writing something so there... but I can't remember quite rightly that part of story about the boat making the sun go all the way around the earth so that the next day may shine.
It was made for the anubis contest organized by . Althought the last date is december first I couldn't stop working on it. I'm happy with the result.
For your info, the crocodile, lion and hippo thing on his left (anubis) is Ammit, the thing that ate the bad hearts after the judgement!

Great job! The lighting, concept, coloring, shading, and everything is great!!!
...But...Maybe you should shrink it a little...Cause right now its hard to see the whole thing if you need to scroll for EVERY bit, maybe have dA resize it so its a little bigger than your average wallpaper 1026 by 800, and let them download it full sized if they want...And trust me, it would really help the picture if it was slightly smaller lol.
I'd suggest a setting thats around 1200 width, or maybe a LITTLE bigger if thats the option, that way people can still get all the detail ^^

I love this picture. Very atmospheric. I love the lighting around the figures. My only critique would be to spend more time with the background or leave it out (just have the sunrise / sunset / whatever and no pyramids). Other than that I think it's great.
