Description
The frontline variant of the AJ-262FX. No fixed weapon was carried in favor of a centerline mounted weapon pod under the fuselage which could be easily exchanged for a different weapon depending on the operational requirements of the squadron they are deployed to. Although called fighters, the addition of a second crewman allows these craft to be used in roles such as reconnaissance, ground strike, electronics warfare and even light AEW&C when carrying appropriate equipment.

The AJ-262F1 has the distinction of being the first Araxian mass produced fighter to feature a completely windowless cockpit, using the helmet to display the outside.

The fighter is intended to replace the old ASF-262A1 "JagdAdler" and the ASF-190 "SturmAdler".
