Next Greek Epic is from the Odyssey. Odysseus and his crew got stranded on the Isle of Circe.... which is covered by a weird magical myst and has oddly tame beasts. The beasts were once men, who were unfortunate enough to reach the island and were transformed by Circe (traditionally, swine... but also big cats as well and other feral beasts)
