Description Hello there!!!

I hope you had an amazing 2018's closure, and if not... cheer up, things happen for a reason.

On my end, it was a mixed thing... our 14 years old Dog, Gary, Passed away on Christmas... and the new year's eve was charged with that sadness, but in the end, we managed to understand the loss, and  carried on with a sense of longing. After all, she had a few raw weeks after a difficult operation... so it was a well deserved rest for our good old lass.

Anyway, back on track. I bought myself GG XRD Rev 2 for Christmas, it was really cheap for PC, so i grabbed it.

I began to fiddle around with the chars i use the most... and suddenly, i felt the urge to try Baiken again.
The main reason was, to find something new to fiddle with... and the fact that my passion for her remained dormant for many years...

I cannot pinpoint way exactly, but for many years, she flew over my head... i thought her gimmick was kinda lacking in comparison to the other characters. Despite her importance, she felt out of focus for me.

Also the fact that for some time, the friend with whom i play this thing the most, became obsessed with her, and brought her up every chance he had... it was really annoying... adding the fact that he thought he was really good with her... and played really bad every time... That kinda added to my desire to ignore her.

Fortunately, her redesign in XRD added fire to the dimed flame, and oh boy... i was impressed.

Her gameplay feels more refined, more rewarding... you have to really look deeply to find the good stuff, and that was an amazing re-discovery.

Also her design, feels more akin to the concept of GG. She is no longer the weird regular Samurai chick... she has this Bansho theme going on, that adds more "rock" to her design, something she was lacking before.

To be honest though... i feel the emphasis on her breast was a little too much... feels forced and grotesque sometimes.

Still, i loved her design a lot, so i decided to give her my two cents.

I missed some details, as always... but overall, it keeps the charm.

I love drawing GG chars... painting them though... that's other story.

So, i decided to make her on a dynamic pose, kinda inspired for her Air Dust attack... i don't see that one very often in fan arts, so it was a nice catch. Put some background stuff here again... i wanted to use Ogre Valley, her new stage on Rev 2, but i couldn't find solo renders of it... so the Colony from AC will make do.

I hope you people like it. See you around!
