This makes me think a bit about celestial creatures like the Cherubim, despite its more "obvious" similarity with a dragon. Despite this I like it, it's an interesting design I haven't seen in many other places.

So, this is clearly about 2/3 photo manipulation with some masterful blending and painting- a really WOW image on a card, but do you mind explaining your process a little bit more?

I like how you do your smoke and flames. I remember staring at the image of the demon girl with the incense trying to figure out how you do it.
