So far, this is my favorite piece that I submitted!!I think this was the sweetest scene from the (terribly received) Sonic The Hedgehog. (No, the sweetest part is NOT when Elise kisses Sonic; that is disturbing, not in the faintest bit fitting!) I watched the scene on YouTube, since I don't have and no longer want the game, and I instantly thought, "Wow, I have to draw this!" It's the part where Silver and Shadow are returning to their present time, after Silver puts young Elise next to the tree. After Silver hears Elise mumble in her sleep, he goes back to her and hands her the blue Chaos Emerald and says, "It's a lucky charm". The setting was so pretty, so I just had to draw it!
In a few moments I will upload the Photoshop edit version; the only change is that I used a simple artistic effect, yet the image looked clearer and the colors blended better. Please excuse the poor color-penciling! My hand got pretty tired, you know! XD
Enjoy! The other version will be up in a minute!
EDIT: On second thought, forget the Photoshop rendered one! There's barely a difference anyway. XD

Cool work! I remember that Sonic 2006 game! Ya know I think the things Elise's father taught her is kinda the SAME THINGS that Bail Organa once taught Leia on Alderaan in STAR WARS! "Be brave and strong and don't cry no matter WHAT happens"

I also thought that Elise kissing Sonic was unnecessary and sappy, not because of "bestiality" or "necrophilia", but because it's...well, I prefer everyone praying to Sonic to wake up.

A little more effort and time and I think Sonic 2006 would have been a MUCH better praised game. This scene is one example of the potential it had. Great drawing of it! Silver is such a nice guy!

Even though I love this game to death,this is a part where the story screws itself up because Silver gives Elise the blue Chaos Emerald....So it would be impossible for sonic to go Super Sonic in nearly all of his games because he wouldn't have had all the Emeralds....unless there were 8 Chaos Emeralds.....

Y'know, as cute as this scene is, it generates a HUGE plot hole.
Silver gives Elise the Emerald and it's implied that she holds on to it until the events of the game. If that's the case, then NONE OF THE OTHER GAMES WOULD'VE HAPPENED!
The first game, maybe as there were only six, and Sonic CD as that had Time Stones, but the others where there were seven emeralds...
No Sonic 2
No Sonic 3 & Knuckles
No Sonic Adventure 1 or 2
No Sonic Heroes
No Shadow the Hedgehog.
None of them could've occurred according to this game.
