Old WW2 plane flew over so I thought I'd take it back to 1939 with some HDR and desaturation.Related content

that would be a Douglas DC-3/C-47 in D-Day invasion paint scheme. the black and white stripes on the wings and fuselage weren't used until the 1944 invasion. they were to assist in identifying the aircraft as friendly in order to reduce friendly fire casualties which allied fighters could have caused. nice shot.
