Description I'm ALIVE!! Well... sort of. Sorry I've not been around much. With school is out for my son, its hard to sit down and do a lot of stuff on the computer or even art off on the side. I'll be back with pictures and stuff next month.

So this is something my sister-in-law asked me to do. She is getting married there and wanted a drawing of the temple on here invites. She loved it so much that she asked me to bring the original so it can be displayed at the reception. Big problem though. The original had so many mistakes that I flat out will not show it to the public (it was a rush job ). Thank goodness for photoshop!

So here you go, enjoy!

Done in ink with some photoshop clean up.

That is amazing! I've only been there once (while on an orchestra tour to Seattle) but I loved it! The church we went to was right outside the grounds, and there was a nice little tree-y area we walked through. It was winter, but still beautiful! You captured it splendidly!

Thanks! Yeah The first time I went to Seattle was in the winter when I met my husbands parents. They kept telling me how sad it was that I was visiting in the ugly season! Now I'm from Southern Idaho and in the winter most of the time it is cold and brown with patches of snow. I thought Seattle was gorgeous in the winter, I mean everything was green! Its nice to know I wasn't the only one who thought so!

Woooow- That's really nice. It seems all the temples I see now are really tall. At least, compared to the Denver temple... But this is really pretty, makes me want to go visit the Seattle one.

Yes, it is LDS, in fact its the one my husband and I got married in about 8 years ago.

I'm glad you like it!

Indeed! Last month I had the pleasure of visiting Salt Lake City and was blown away with the beautiful temples. Idaho Falls had a amazing temple as well that I remember photographing.

Hey thats awesome! I've been to the Idaho Falls temple a couple of times, I went to Ricks College, in Rexburg (now known as BYU Idaho) which was, I think, about 45 minutes away, it was the closest one at the time.
So did you see a bunch of temples in Utah or did you visit just the Salt Lake temple?

When I was out there I saw Salt Lake Temple, a beautiful place with such a great history. The only other was the Idaho Falls temple. I don't belong to the LDS church but I loved the area, history, and architecture. Temple Square in Salt Lake was amazing as well as the view from the state capital.

I'm glad you got to go and see them, and if there is a Temple Open house near you I would advise to check it out. The interior is just as beautiful if more so than the outside.
