Description Design of Type: Null from Pokémon Sun and Moon. According to the games a total of three Type: Full's were made, however, all of them went berserk and as a result they each got an helmet to prevent them from unleashing their full power. They were also put into permanent cryogenic stasis to never be awaken again. Their name also changed from Type: Full to Type: Null

I kinda loved Type: Null's History and as a result I got inspired to make this design to show the three in cryogenic stasis.

Dang.  So if there were originally three Type: Nulls created, then what do you suppose happened to the third one?

The best part about its lore is its ties to the 4th Gen Legendary Pokemon Arceus and in someways, Mewtwo. So from there there's a connection about its origin (created in the guise of the Original One, to be a "Beast Killer") and its obvious creation in a lab under shady situations.

Everyone knows what Gen Arceus is from, friend... just say Arceus XD

I was thinking #3 is in Lillie's hands.

Because of this in-game info, I can't help but wonder if Silvally is a separate species from Type: Full, like a slight mutation that is a result of emotional connections. I mean, the helmet was to limit their power, but stat wise it only limits speed.

Emblemeer In reply to xPlayer1x [2017-01-20 19:40:33 +0000 UTC]

I think so too. It seems a little strange for Gladion to name the species "Silvally" instead of "Type: Full" which it supposedly is. Sure, he wanted something a little personal, but it's not even a nickname, it's the species name. So clearly it's a slightly different Type: Full. Perhaps the friendship evolution represents it controlling its power.

I soft reset for Null, and eventually I got it. In a way, I guess my way of thinking is that the Null Gladion gives the player is that shiny one, which signifies how it's different than his.

There's something I'm curious about.

There were initially three Type: Null created and put into cryogenic stasis. One of them was liberated by Gladion, he then gives you another one. So whatever became of the third and final Type: Null?

My headcanon is that Lusamine put that in her "collection" as well.

But I can't say I'm much better with my whole box of Type: Nulls.

Strikerprime In reply to Emblemeer [2017-01-01 20:19:05 +0000 UTC]

You hacked for all of those Type: Null didn't you?

👍: 0 ⏩: 2

Emblemeer In reply to Strikerprime [2017-01-07 19:15:15 +0000 UTC]

Surprisingly, no. One of them is probably hacked because the nature and IVs are too good to be true, and another one was level 100, but other than that they all had displaced IVs or iffy natures. I even got a couple of shinies which had PERFECT natures for competitive Type: Null and Silvally, but their IVs were pretty odd so once again, probably not hacked.

I can only assume these were amateur players who didn't know they got a shiny or just didn't know of the rarity of Null period.

TDLBallistic In reply to Emblemeer [2017-01-20 11:13:43 +0000 UTC]

Honestly who cares if they're hacked? They're legal, and they're technically things you COULD get if you grinded...

Emblemeer In reply to TDLBallistic [2017-01-20 19:35:21 +0000 UTC]

Precisely. But now Pelago is overrun with Nulls and Nebbys. I think they're plotting because they're always chatting with each other.

The Nulls always hang out in groups or perform medial tasks. The Nebbys just pretend to be cute. They're up to something, I know it.

Rather slow fingers, actually. Just dropped Litwicks into the gts and people went nuts. I'm still trying, but it's not working anymore.

Strikerprime In reply to ShinningArceus [2017-01-05 02:04:31 +0000 UTC]

I sincerely doubt that, given how rare it is. People would be wanting something else rare in return like a Legendary or an Ultra Beast.

Emblemeer In reply to Strikerprime [2017-01-07 19:16:03 +0000 UTC]

I actually have worse luck with Ultra Beasts. But trading a few Nulls for Cosmogs? Heck yeah.

I don't understand the GTS...

ShinningArceus In reply to Strikerprime [2017-01-05 15:54:06 +0000 UTC]

if you go on GTS at odd hours, people have give-aways for shinies.
i got 2 shiny primarinas and 2 shiny silvallies at 3 in the morning.
((oh boy, 3 am!))

Strikerprime In reply to ShinningArceus [2017-01-05 21:03:13 +0000 UTC]

I'm.... still having a hard time believing this.

Why would you get 2 shiny Primarina and 2 shiny Silvally? Why not just 1 of each?

👍: 0 ⏩: 2

TDLBallistic In reply to Strikerprime [2017-01-20 11:14:48 +0000 UTC]

People Gen Pokemon, so they're worthless to the person genning.
They just want to make someone else happy.

The genner can always make new Pokemon infinity.

ShinningArceus In reply to Strikerprime [2017-01-05 22:14:44 +0000 UTC]

2 primarinas because one was a gts bargaining chip
2 shiny silvallies because i am literally obsessed and want all the silvallies.
in moon have 5 silvallies total. the null i'm about to go grab from gladion in moon will make six (after i evolve it of course)
silvally is my favorite pokemon. i will collect as many as humanly possible.

Emblemeer In reply to ShinningArceus [2017-01-07 19:13:04 +0000 UTC]

Silvally collection seems to be a trend now

👍: 0 ⏩: 0

Strikerprime In reply to ShinningArceus [2017-01-06 00:14:10 +0000 UTC]

Why do you want to collect all the different types of Silvally when just one can literally be all of them?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

ShinningArceus In reply to Strikerprime [2017-01-12 19:59:08 +0000 UTC]

i'm not going for different types; just as many as possible.
why settle for one when you can have more?
i am a collector, and a collector i shall be.
doesn't matter if they are weak or strong.
if their original trainer doesn't want them i'll gladly adopt them.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Strikerprime In reply to ShinningArceus [2017-01-12 20:42:37 +0000 UTC]

I think you might've misinterpreted my question. I was asking why do you want to get as many types of Silvally as possible when just one can become all the types simply by giving it all the different memories? Seems like a waste of time trying to get a bunch of them when all you need is just one. Not to mention you'll probably have to trade some of the rare Pokemon in your own collection in order to get them. Because you can only get one Silvally in the game, so nobody's just gonna give their's up without asking for something as rare in return.

👍: 0 ⏩: 2

ShinningArceus In reply to Strikerprime [2017-02-15 20:54:10 +0000 UTC]

i think you are misinterpreting my statement of wanting as many as possible. i have no strategic reason whatsoever, i just want a box full of precious chimera puppies. i'm not going after types or quality or a team. i just want to be surrounded my adorable chimera puppies

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Strikerprime In reply to ShinningArceus [2017-02-15 22:39:39 +0000 UTC]

I never saw any sort of strategic reason when you said you wanted a whole box of Silvally with different memories.

I just think it's a lot faster and simpler to get just one Silvally that can be any type you want it to be than having a box full of all the different types. At least you'll be virtually using them all if you just went with one, rather than just use one and have all the others just sit in a PC box.

But that is just my opinion. Do whatever you feel like.

ShinningArceus In reply to Strikerprime [2017-02-21 17:57:08 +0000 UTC]

you asked why i wanted so many, and i answered. i'm not sure why you are still hung up on the 'one silvally fits all types' thing.
i.
don't.
care.
about.
types.
i just want 30 silvallies.
that's it.
i said from the very beginning that i WASN'T interested in the different types. i don't care about the types.
have i mentioned yet that i don't care about types? oh yeah, i did, at the very beginning of the discussion!

Strikerprime In reply to ShinningArceus [2017-02-21 18:37:07 +0000 UTC]

Okay then, fine. If it ends this game.

Personally, I really don't see the point in why you're collecting 30 Silvally when all you need is one. You can only get one per game, so people are not gonna be so willing to give their's up so easily. But since you're so fixated on doing this. Don't let me stand in your way.

TDLBallistic In reply to Strikerprime [2017-01-20 11:16:27 +0000 UTC]

Because it's fun...? People collected shitloads of Arceus to put plates on in Gen 4. It's not weird...
It's not that different from collecting Vivillon.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Strikerprime In reply to TDLBallistic [2017-01-20 17:41:21 +0000 UTC]

It's different with Vivillon because there's no way you can alter its formes. Whereas you can change the formed of Silvally and Arceus.

Well, we'll have to wait until the Diamond/Pearl remakes.
(Though I really want the Black/White Remakes so we can see what the Tao Dragon Trio's original form was)

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

TDLBallistic In reply to ShiningDragoon107 [2017-01-20 11:20:25 +0000 UTC]

Not happening. It's too late to add the Tao Dragon, plus it would make no sense lore wise.
If it was meant to exist, they would've put it in during Black/White 2.

Also... 4th Gen is getting a remake long before 5th gen.
