I'm amazed at how much detail you got out of this. The antennae look really great, since the stripes are so sharp and clear. I recently attended a show at Alfred University that had large scale prints of moths, and they were pretty cool. This would be really cool on a huge scale, since you could get nice detail on the softness of the butterfly. Just a thought :-P! Congrats on the DD!

This is wonderfull. Last summer a butterfly just like this came in my garden and I tried to take a photo of it but failed, havent seen one like it before or since. Perfect focus and great DOF. Truelly deserve a DD

That butterfly looks like the common blue butterfly, the ones that live in my backyard... but are supposed to be in Europe *tugs collar*! It's a very lovely shot! Did it have brown spots under its wings?
