People tell you that you can't do things, or that you're not good enough, so you shrug it off. You don't listen. But eventually, it gets to you. You hear it more. And then it isn't just other people telling you that you can't, you're telling yourself that too. But don't listen! That is not you speaking. You have to reply to those voices, tell them "No, that's not true." I have always doubted myself, and when I saw this picture and read the comments I felt that I had to write something. Stupid as it sounds, yea, you have to love yourself. Those voices never leave, but you can make them so small that you can't hear them.

for me its the exact opposite, i have lots of talents and i get lots of praise from that but the way that i think is killing me because i have started an equation of life in my head that wont allow me to stop trying to solve it, iv discovered so many things from it but lately i have wanted anything nor wanted to be recognized. i have all these talents and my mother assumes i show a lot of them off so she tells me to give some spotlight to other people, well whenever i am with other people i don't want the spotlight at all, i want to be nothing and feel as if i am imposing to most. i don't care what my happy side wants because i keep it all in and never show it

it's 11:30 am here and lately i feel something like that. i have never had a boyfriend, stress is killing me, nxt year is highschool, and my cat just died last night

ugh its one in 12:58am and i sitting here searching sadness and listening to sad songs because im in love with my best friend and shes not this picture this is how i feel not suicidle but the symbolisim is the same. i mean im going to college and its so stressfull ive never been close with my family and my other best freind thinks im a fool for not giving up on the one i love. thanks i jus wanted to type this feels better out here than in my head
