Pocoyo: My entry for xiuemi 's contest MINI CONTEST | OPEN | CLOSES JUNE 1ST

12 HOURS! At least 12 hours on this picture! HHHH! orz I thought I wasn't going to make the deadline so I really went and spent an entire day and some hours after school to work on this!//crying I think I can say I spent about if not at least 20 hours in total... =v= never spent so much time on a picture! But I tried my best! Hopefully I'll get better with scenery! I used a lot of google refs!

I don't know much of their personality since there's not much info on them however they had this whole fantasy-like feel that seemed fun to work with! At first I wanted to deviate from all the cute and lovey-dovey feels so I thought making a dreary battlefield in the background would be cool but it ended up being brighter! Even so, I think it has a good message, "Even in the midst of death and war, we have each other." or something along those lines orz (gosh I'm corny)
