My entry for the fifth round of TheOC-pageantOfDA
Theme 9: Truth or Dare
This theme was all about dice toss - I did the spicy version and got 3 - to draw two of your characters hugging each other.
Decided to go with 6 year old Iisjah and his mum Blaheen!
6 years you say? Yup - even though compared to his mum he's newborn size, this is only because of the fact that since he was born he had a condition that was basically a magic induced dwarfism (after a freak magic explosion when his mum was pregnant with him and Cormac)
He's just a little bean.
Blaheen is a proud fisherman's wife (she loves fishing herself too, but she leaves the deep sea fishing to her husband) and a capable woman and a warm, patient mum, even though a bit on the overprotective side.
The colours on her ribbon and apron are her family's crest colours.
Her fashion is reminiscent of early XXth century worker woman fashion, with a simple but feminine design.

This is so cute!! I didn't know Iisjah was so little!! Blaheen is very pretty and I like the netting and sailor knot designs you included in the background.

Yeah he's a tiny thing compared to his family! In normal human size he's a bit smaller than a usual kid would be, because of his shorter legs. But compared to the giants? Phew, he's lucky he wasn't squished! (well realistically he probably was once or twice unintentionally)
Now I need to draw a piece with adult Iisjah with his siblings or sth
