Taken at Oliva zoo, Gdansk, Poland 2010It's one of the pair of Orang-utans we have in our zoo and boy are they a lazy bunch D: They behavaviour is somewhat similar to a homeless hobo
They like to sleep under old boxes and wear torn clothes (which they have in their run to keep them entertained) and are basicly very laid back
It was a while since I saw them outside of their sleeping area so I couldn't loose the opportunity to make some photos

They do but at least there is no poacher wanting to kill him for a trophy D: In my opinion if the animals are treated right than I think zoos are excused in a way - at least they try to keep the species from disappearing

Zoos have both upsides and downsides to them but at least the got to have a nice big cage with fun things in there to do :3

Sometimes I have the feeling, it is not enough. I would not like to live in a cage, even if I would have everthing to play and eat what I want.
