Nate's outfit is actually really weird when I think about it.. but then I also thought about the part where he doesn't give a fuck, sohey~ Decided not to change the original design too much.. I'll save that for when I have to come up with more shit for him to wear (deargod why did I do this to myself. /crai)

Friend of Yume and Hugh, will be introduced properly next page~ He's a year older than them.. also quite a bit taller, since Yume is actually pretty short and Hugh not that tall either (French people, eh). Works as a researcher for Oak in Kanto, as mentioned by Mani in page 21 ~ Back in Unova cause of things yet to be explained.

Decided to add this guy because this story really needs someone that smiles more than once every 3 chapters~ And I'm using Hilda and Hilbert too, so why not Nate~? (Wait, I hadn't mentioned I'd be adding Hilbert yet? Oops.) Besides, it wouldn't make sense for Hugh and Yume to not have any other friends xD Nate (or his Growlithe/Arcanine rather) is mentioned for the first time in page 4 ~

Three badges, because in this world badges double as licenses for HMs, and Nate needs those to do his job~ The badges he's got are the licenses for Fly, Strength and Cut. Most people that just want to get around rough areas orso don't bother going through the trouble of getting a license, and either just try to get their hands on the moves without getting the license, or use a different move/method that may get the job done as well, but due to potential dangers, it is illegal to do so. If Nate were to get caught without a license however, Oak would most likely get in trouble and he would definitely be out of a job, so everything goes by the books~
