Just a heads up that I won't be continuing BlackOut.. again. Didn't last as long as I'd hoped this time, but recently I've all of a sudden grown a big dislike for the type of story that BlackOut happens to be as well, and that makes it extremely frustrating to work on for me. (Not the Nuzlocke part. I still love me some Pokeymans~)The reason it took this long to even mention anything is because I'm not a fan of bringing nothing but bad news, and I really wanted to have a piece of summary done so I'd at least have something to give, but as I haven't been motivated enough to touch my tablet in 2 months, I don't think that's happening anytime soon. So for somewhere next week I'll get myself to draw a picture of Yume's final team and possibly explain in big lines what happened to whom.. and you can ask me anything you'd still want to know there.
Also, as I did have page 35 and half of page 36 sketched, I stashed them for anyone that would still like to read those: 35-1 , 35-2 ; 36-1 .
I really would've preferred to draw this story properly, but the amount of time it takes to even make one page is not worth the frustration.. Right now I just want to be done with it so I can feel like I can stop avoiding dA.. and maybe feel like drawing again at all .__.

It's a shame to hear that you don't plan to go on, but if it brings you no joy then there's no point. In any case, I will look forward to your future art regardless, and thank you for how much you did do.

I understand what you are feeling, I tend to procrastinate in things I'm not in the mood of, right now the nuzlocke, being honest I have a sketched page for what now two weeks, but I don't have the motivation to finish it, I'm really surprised on your sketch pages, I don't think I would be able to do that ever, too many sketched pages in a row, hope you regain your will to draw again I enjoy your art greatly

Having more sketched pages ready was actually somewhat relieving to me for a while.. as if I at least had something done already. But there's so much I have to do lately that I can't bring up the motivation to work on my comic anymore cause it takes sooo looong to make even one of these pages and the whole thing isn't nearly as good as it could be and it's just frustrating .-.

T_T I understand that a comic involves an insane amount of effort, but what is exactly what you don't like about the story? I think is one of the best thought nuzlockes and the best developed characters of all dA, I mean it. But of course, anything that involves creativity needs motivation so I will have to accept that it has come to an end... I hope to see more of your work anyway!

I don't like Hugh and Yume's relationship anymore, which is probably the most important part of this story. I like what they are in my head, but that's not even close to what they are on paper and it's very frustrating to write for. They don't have any kind of basis because I started this comic without any plans and the story just grew as I went along, and there's not really any way to make up for that later on when most of their relationship is supposed to be based on their past together.

Well, for me, that makes it much more realistic. Just like in the real world, relationships can't be planned and things don't always turn up as we want, and perfect things don't exist. It's just my opinion, so even if you leave the comic be sure that it's a really good job Β
I mean, I loved all the characters and thought they were really well developed, and I've read a lot of nuzlockes to compare. They resemble a couple that could be perfectly possible in the reality, with their bad and good sides, a kind of sad part and moments like last page which are both "aww" "wow" and "oh..", i don't know if you are getting my point, but I'm sure a lot of people loved them too.

I'm feeling alright, I'm just bleh about what I want to do with my future, and if I want to focus on anything for that at all while doing this comic just leaves me no time for sleep or breathing or nothing and it's bleh. I wish the comic could help for my future at all, but it's not particularly well written and the pages take too long so I don't want to push myself art-wise so it's doing nothing but draining time and energy .__. msorryfortherantπ: 0 β©: 1

I've always felt like nuzlockes require a ridiculous amount of work. Most nuzlockes I see that actually get through the story just post small pages with jokes and memes and not much in the way of plot or character development or anything. So, needless to say, I don't blame you. I'll miss Yume's sexiness, but I'll get over that <3 Besides, I'm sure whatever you do next will be equally as sexy <3

Serious-story Nuzlockes are so so ridiculously long, it's almost stupid .__. So many characters, so many battles, 8 gyms, Team Badguys, rivals, captures, Elite4, traveling between them, pages to introduce and shape all of them mylord.
But I'll never stop drawing sexy, don't you worry about that<3

Yeah, I don't know how people manage serious-story nuzlockes. They work on them for so long, then complain about it and it's like "You don't have to keep going?" Ahh well. Can't wait for more sexy art <3

i totally understand. Β Drawing is a vry time consuming process and larger pages do tend to take even more time. Β I onlly draw small fanart and it still takes me days to get right. Β I couldn't imagine drawing all the stuff i've written. Β It would be a pain and i would probably give up. Β I did enjoy BlackOut while it was running, though.
